Shortcut Bar not appear after installing Office 95 due to PC not rebooted.
Cause:
Setup places the shortcut to the Office Shortcut Bar in the WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP folder. Items in the Startup folder only start up when the computer is rebooted.
Solution:
Open 'Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar' from the 'Startup' menu or run it from the 'Run' menu.
Do one of the following to start the Office Shortcut Bar:
1) Use the 'Programs' group on the 'Start' menu:
2) Use the 'Run' command:
a) Click Windows 'Start'.
Start menu
b) Select 'Run...' from the 'Start' menu.
c) Type MSOFFICE\OFFICE\MSOFFICE in the 'Open' box.
d) Click 'Open'.
NOTE: The Shortcut Bar will automatically start after the computer is rebooted.
